Corry Reunion 2011-the return of "there's just nothing like a good quilt"

(Confused about the title? See here.)

(Skip to the end of that post, unless you want a review of the wedding of my dear cousin Emily, who incidentally, is now a proud mother of a bouncing baby boy.)

For the past two years (maybe more, I can't remember for certain), my mom has brought quilt blocks up to the reunion for the cousins, grandkids, uncles, and extra-extended family to color and personalize.  When the blocks are completed, she takes them back home and sews them into quilts which she then donates.

One of the fruits of last years labors.

This year, after making the blocks available to the entire giant Corry family, she asked the smaller Corry family (ours) to finish up some of the loose ends and un-colored or under-colored blocks.

So, we did.
