Kristina Chenoweth (sp??) also stars playing Glinda.

I so want to see this show!!! (although, I have seen it from a shaky 3rd row balacony seat on You Tube, I know, I am bad).

Also, my children don't sing any of the primary songs (embarrassing much)but they can sing Defying Gravity along with me in the car. My favorite is when Jessi sings Bring Me Down at the end!! Makes me smile every time :)

Isn't it Kristin Chenowith (sp?) not Kristina? I too want to see this show - maybe when it comes to Utah (ish) again, we need to have a girl's night out and go see it.

I'm also pretty certain Kristin played a part on the show West Wing with Martin Sheen, whose son Charlie is currently in the middle of a very public psychological and mental breakdown and suffering from serious denial but was my favorite in Three Musketeers with Oliver Platt and Keifer Sutherland, neither of which are having a mental breakdown :)

Tasha, I just love how your connect things. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt :) Do you ever play the seven degrees of Kevin Bacon?? You would rock at it!!

Oh crud! Missed it. Here are my attempts at whim points:

When we lived in the middle of nowhere in Kentucky we knew that Wicked would NEVER come there so as a surprise for my birthday Adam got flights, reservations and tickets to Wicked in Chicago. Now THAT's dedication! I loved it and realized it would be a once-in-a-lifetime thing. A year and a half later we ended up moving to Rochester and it came there TWICE while we were there. Hahahaha.

For Christmas Adam got symphony tickets for me. One of the sets of tickets were for the Wicked Divas. Two Divas who had both been Elphaba twice in differnt companys singing Wicked music and other songs of other Divas. FABULOUS!

I (along with every other sane person in the world) LOVE WICKED!

haven't seen it (yet) but it's on my bucket list...

My only connection to WICKED (aside from the fact that I am rather "wicked" myself, at times) is that one of the young men I taught in Sunday school, went on to major in theater and he toured with WICKED for two years. He was also a lion in the LIKEN the scriptures movie of Daniel and the Lions den. and there is a LION in Wizard of OZ, which is the follow up to WICKED...

I'm with Tasha. I still need to see it, so I'm all for a girls' night next time it's in Utah.

Melissa:
4 points for song and musical
1 point for character
1 point for actress
1 point for Kristina Chenoweth (although I think it's just Kristin--I could be wrong)
1 point for making me feel better about the fact that Heather only knows three Primary songs, but is well-versed in Edelweiss, Baby Mine, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and Neil Diamonds "America"

total points: 8

Tasha-
1 point for correctly identifying Kristin C.
(I'm TOTALLY up for a girl's wicked night)
1 point for knowing about Kristin in West Wing,
1 more point for tying that to Charlie Sheen, and tying that the Three Musketeers. Nice work.

Total points: 3

EmpireStateGreenway-who I'm assuming is Amy, unless Adam pipes up and definitively says he's playing:

1 point for seeing Wicked (as a once in a lifetime thing)
1 point for hearing actual Elfabas sing Wicked songs with our "wicked good" Utah Symphony. (I crack me up!)

total points: 2

Jeri
2 points for teaching a kid who became a Wicked STAR!

In light of Robert/Dallen's comments, I've decided to extend the same deal to people under 16 as I've extended to people over 60. That is to say that Kaylee and Dallen can play as a team and win as a team.

So,

Kaylee/Dallen:
2 points for the fact that Kaylee has every wicked song memorized.

Ahh, Dallen you're so nice to do that. ( I really do have every song memorized, its kinda dorky )

If by "dorky" you mean TOTALLY AWESOME!
