WOW!!! Melissa is FAST!!! This version is different from the one that made lots of money on pop radio stations and this is playing at the Capitol Theater in SLC this fall.

isn't Melissa supposed to be out of commission today - at a play group or something???? she is AMAZING! (and I actually KNEW this one, got on at 9:02, and already too late!

Wish I could be as quick as Melissa and Tasha today.

So, I'm trying for more whim points. I got tickets to the Lion King musical and they were second row seats. Great Christmas present from my Mom and Dad.

As great as the musical was, the best part was the look on my friend Lori's face when she saw where our seats were. We had been purchasing season tickets for a couple of years. All we could afford were the high balcony seats - never the front row type seats. Her look was priceless and the best present of all.

Well, okay I do have to admit this is an amazing musical to see on stage. The puppetry and imagination behind this one is amazing!

I'm going to make one more comment on this one. All I can say is that you'd have to have a lot of love to hold someone's hand who is wearing that get up in this picture!

I realize that stage costumes need to be bold - but that is really bold. The wig and hat are also something to behold here! So, I guess the 'Can you Feel the Love' is the perfect song here. You have to love acting to wear that!

Playgroup got cancelled because it rained.

So I am so happy right now. My laptop just got back from TX and it works and best of all, my documents are still on it. Oh happy day with joyous glee!!

That actress looks incredibly familiar - did wherever you pull this from indicate who it was? Melinda Pfundstein by any chance? Just curious...

4 non-whim points to Melissa

2 whim points to Tasha

1 whim (condolence) point to Jeri

2 whim points to Carol

1 whim point to Lindsey--for awesome lyric writing

Actually Tasha, it's Izabela Bujniewicz--in a Polish production of "The Academy of Professor Klex" (Whatever that is). If you click on the link at the bottom that says "Image", it will take you to where I got the photo.

Isn't "The Lion King" playing at Tuacahn this summer too? Why twice in the same state in the same year I wonder? I'm thinking about taking my boys to see it. I think they'd enjoy it, just for the amazing costumes and the familiar music, since they listen to the soundtrack frequently when going to bed at night.

I think you're right Harmony, although that does seem weird. I bet your boys would LOVE it, and the Tuacahn scenery experience is pretty awesome for sure.

(1 point, by the way)
