honey through the comb, sifting; imagine these in one eager mouth

Lightning Round!

2 points for the name of the song
2 more points for the name of the musical

(other points awarded by whim, as always)

(pictures have nothing to do with the answer, generally speaking)

quirky 3-10

Oklahoma? The only musical I can think of that talks about corn (maybe)

Wow, I think I should have quit while I was ahead. This is demoralizing.

Oh--don't feel bad. Some of these are pretty OLD school.

(Oh-and Tasha, it's COMB, not CORN)

I think I am so going to have to brush up on my "old school" for next year.

Assuming there will be a next year, Can I request it now?

Seriously, these last few weeks have been a blast for me. I can't tell you how hilarious it is when Jacob rolls his eyes at me because of my extended time on-line. Too, Too, Funny!

Thanks for doing this Char, especially because I am doing so lousy in our other March Madness tournament.

Arsenic and Old Lace? C'mon you guys. I know next to nothing about musicals, but I can figure out a clue here and there (along with my bucket-loads of whim points, of course).

Or maybe not.

Not Arsenic and Old Lace. Sorry. (That actually wasn't so much of a hint as a statement of fact. Sorry for the Red Herring, Harmony)

And Melissa--I'm thinking there will be a next year.

Don't even talk to me about March Madness. Have you seen my place in the pool? ALL my final four were out by the second day of play. Puleeze!

Is it Kismet? And This is my Beloved? The prince is singing, at least he is in my head. And you were in the Logan community production of Kismet and had to sew your own costume which caused you much angst.

Go Mom!!! I have never heard of Kismet, is it good?? Is there a movie of it??

And go Char for making your own costume!! Awesome!!

I just looked at the brackets, I didn't realize you had lost your final four. Sorry, that is rough, it really takes the fun out of watching the games when you don't have anyone to route for.
I entered my bracket on to a website where I bought some games last Christmas in an attempt to win a $50.00 gift certificate. I am in last place, so needless to say, I don't think I will be seeing that gift certificate. Ah well :(

Go Mom!

4 real points, and another point for the remembrance of me being in the Logan production.

Also--in the name of honesty, I should say that I didn't end up making my own costume. I tried, using Aunt Liz's sewing machine, but it was a disaster and I couldn't use it. So, I bought a tank top at DI, and Heidi rigged it up with some fringe and stuff for me. Then I used part of a Halloween costume of my other roommate Amanda. Whew!
