Larry

Larry H. Miller 1944-2009

Larry H. Miller was the owner of the Utah Jazz and a whole bunch of car dealerships, not to mention restaurants, movie theatres, and I don't know what else.

We only met one time, and I'm sure he wouldn't have remembered me. But through his generosity, he has blessed my life every day for the past twelve years.

I am far from the only Utahn who can say that.
I will miss him.

Hey, I know that guy!!! He used to live in the stake where I grew up. His son was in my classes at school. Nice guy! Always at church even during Jazz play-off games. He did a lot for this state!

I've been thinking the same thing all weekend Charlotte. I will be forever grateful for my time in Logan and for all of the blessings Larry H Miller brought to my life.

so do I get points if I match a song to your "non-game" post? Of course, it's not from a musical, but the title could have been "we hold forever in our hearts" or "when such a friend from us departs."

couldn't hurt to try...

Nice try Jeri, but today the whims just aren't blowin' your way.

Try again soon.

:)

(I do love that hymn though.)
