Do I look like I'm pregnant?

I look like I'm slightly pregnant in this picture, huh?

(I'm not)

(I'm really not even that chubby--it's a bad camara angle and a big sweater)(October 2007)

And again here-I look a little pregnant here too, don't I?

(I'm not)

(I'm carrying a camara, two pairs of gloves and a hat in that snowsuit "kangaroo pouch") December 2007

What about this one? Do I look pregnant in this one?

(Kind of hard to tell, huh?)

March 2008

'Cause I AM!!

If all goes as we are planning it to go (and it should, right?), we'll have a new little baby in our home around the 10th of October.

(This is not our baby. I just found this picture on the internet a minute ago)

Heaven help us! We alternate between being so excited that we can hardly stand it and so scared that we think we might lose our minds. That's normal, right? Pray for us to have a baby that is easy-going and knows a lot about raising him or herself.

I have a feeling it might take us a while to get the hang of it all.

(You might remember Eric's ill-fated attempt to kick his Diet Pepsi habit. He has definitely cut back, but as this picture shows, he does still indulge from time to time.)

WAHOO!!!! I am so thrilled for you. You and Eric will be wonderful parents, as long as the kids are "just a little bit quirky...";)

Love ya!

Woohoo!!!! That is the best news!!!

Many, many congratulations. It might take awhile to get the hang of it. I'm sure our parents are still thinking that. (I know I'm still thinking that!!)

YIPPEE!! I'm soooo excited for you guys. All the emotions you are having are completely normal. Believe me there will be times when you are looking for the instruction manual but it is the BEST, most WONDERFUL, most FULFILLING, most EXHAUSTING, most EVERYTHING you can thing of time of your life. You will be wonderful parents and I am so tickled pink or blue for you.

Well I guess YOU don't have to think about any blog posts topics for the rest of your life. I am so very happy for you. I know you will be an outstanding parent....we need you!!!

I don't know what you're talking about Char. Those feelings aren't normal. Some people just have a parenting gene (others have a laziness gene and just happen to be married to one with the parenting gene).

In a related topic I am convinced that traditionally men have been the breadwinners in order to keep them out of the home and thus preserve some order in that home (kind of like that talk that President Monson gave on Sunday refering to his lack of prowess in the home appliance area).

Congratulations. We are looking forward to seeing you guys this weekend. I hope that if you are showing at all that you are preparing yourself for your nieces and nephews to make some very blunt (but cute) commments.

Yahoo! yahoo! yahooooo!

I plan to do an actual post about this when I feel more of the humor of the incident, but let me just say if you are scared now don't even think about attending a pre-natal class when you are around say like 7 months. Yikes! I have been known to role my eyes at my mom's 1970's birthing baby mentality. They didn't know much then and didn't really ask. Now, I think I should have subscribed. I tend to have the worry gene and the FREAK OUT gene, thus What to Expect when you Are Expecting, BabyCenter.com, and Hospital Pre-natal classes are a recipe for disaster. You will be fine-and I hope you are finding some relief from the morning sickness monster.

Congratulations!!! May you have minimal sickness, not be too tired and have a great experience through the pregnancy. I'm so happy for you.

Yay! We're so excited! This will be our 5th nephew/neice this year! Actually, if you have a boy this will be our 5th nephew this year as all the others are boys. AND if you name him William he will be our 3rd William of the year. If you name him Jug he will be the first Jug...ever...I hope. Really, don't let Eric get his hands on the baby name book or have a girl. :)

Love you and I really hope you feel better!
